Financial Reporting and Auditing: Navigating Digital Transformation, ESG, and Global Change
June 3-4, 2027
About the conference:
- The conference is organized in cooperation with the Eastern European Group for Accounting Research (EEGAR)
- Hosted by: The Department of Financial Accounting of the Krakow University of Economics, Poland
- Co-organizers: Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania and Prague University of Economics and Business, Czech Republic and in collaboration with International Association for Accounting Education and Research
Call for papers:
Papers are invited in the broad areas of financial accounting, managerial accounting, financial and sustainability reporting, accounting education, auditing, ethics in accounting, financial analysis, management information systems, and AI in accounting and auditing. Authors are invited to submit theoretical and empirical contributions.

Paper Development Workshop with Accounting in Europe:
We invite papers that investigate policy-relevant topics in line with Accounting in Europe’s aim and scope to apply for the Paper Development Workshop. Subject to satisfactory revision, the papers will be published in the Journal.
Important dates:
Registration opening date: December 1, 2026
Submission of full papers or abstracts: April 1, 2027
Notification of acceptance: May 1, 2027
Payment of conference fee: May 10, 2027
